Among the other events on the schedule, there were several birthday celebrations while we were in Wisconsin. The first was on Wednesday the 4th at Lakeside Park. I’d like to apologize in advance for the exposure on some of these pictures. I handed the camera to the husband without adjusting the settings, and no amount of tweaking could fix them all.
The theme? Ladybugs!
“Why are you making me wear these?”
This question will probably come up again and again during your lifetime, my dear.
Some kids were happier with their antennae. Antenna? Antennas?
Train ride! All aboard!
Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times.
Peace, dude.
A proper send-off.
There was even a carousel ride.
Who is it? I’ll give you a cookie if you can figure it out.
Best carousel-riding face ever!
Wheeeee!
Veronica gets a ride with Aunt Deb.
Cool water, ahhhh.
Temper tantrum. Someone missed their nap.
And now for the games!
Pin the spot on the ladybug.
Everyone had a spot with their name on it.
Some may have a better sense of “straight” than others. Also, “right-side up”.
“I ate my spot.”
Not really. At least, I don’t think so.
“Let’s see how long before they give up unwrapping their prize! Muahahaha!”
Punching balloons!
In an assortment of colors.
Balloon fight!
Reading a new book.
The birthday girl! One year old – time really flies.
Just hangin’ out.
Finally resigned to her antennae. Mostly.
Visiting.
And Veronica has to get in on the action.
I wish I had gotten pictures of the cake and other goodies. There were cupcakes in a jar that were fabulous, definitely going to make those sometime.
Stay tuned for more vacation fun!
