It’s important for moms everyone to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
1. So far, on this vacation of ours, we’ve managed to be at every event that has been scheduled. Not necessarily on time though.
2. Twelve people in the same house, and no fights over the bathrooms (or laundry room).
3. I finally made PW’s Cinnamon Rolls! They were fantastic. Definitely making those again. Wow!
What were your Small Successes this week?
Oooh I have a few this week... I will make sure to post... I'll have to check out your recipe for the cinnamon rolls! :)
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh Tori, I've been dying to make those cinnamon rolls for years now, but I've never actually done it. They look so amazing! Did you make the whole batch as specified, or did you halve the recipe? And did you even do the maple frosting? (I think every time I want to do it, I remember that I don't have maple flavoring and am too lazy to go to the store... and then I never put it on my shopping list.)
ReplyDeleteKaren, I did make the whole recipe. It made a lot of rolls, about 6 pie pans full. If I was just making it for our family alone, I would definitely halve it (or maybe even less than that), but we were having a big family brunch. And you HAVE to do the maple frosting. I considered just using vanilla instead...but no. The maple frosting is absolutely divine. Put it on your shopping list!
